The placemats and coasters are then finished with a hard-wearing cork back that protects precious furniture. The intricate Strawberry Thief design forms part of the Morris & Co for Pimpernel collection. William Morris was one of the most influential designers of the nineteenth Century and through his company, Morris & Co., he produced some of the most fashionable and exciting textiles and wallpapers of his era.
